Why choose us

Why Austin homeowners call Nighthawk for siding

Local crews, proven materials, and a standard we will not lower for speed or price.

Built on Central Texas ground

We have spent years working the neighborhoods between San Marcos and Temple. That means we know the hail tracks, the soil, the wind corridors, and the HOA rules on your street before we ever set foot on the property. When we quote siding work, it is based on what actually happens to homes here, not a generic chart.

Materials we trust

We install products we would put on our own houses. Every material on this list is chosen because it holds up to Texas sun, hail, and wind, and because the manufacturer stands behind it with a real warranty.

  • James Hardie fiber cement
  • ColorPlus factory finish
  • Insulated vinyl siding
  • Vented soffit & fascia trim

Committed to your property

The crew that inspects your siding is the same crew that does the work. No subcontractor handoff, no middleman markup. We protect your landscaping, clean the site daily, and stand behind the finished job. If something is not right, you call us, not a 1-800 number.

Financing options

Managing the cost of your siding project

A roof or exterior replacement is a real investment. We make sure the payment side is not the thing that keeps you up at night.

Flexible monthly plans

Spread the cost of your project across manageable monthly payments instead of paying it all at once. We work with financing partners who understand that a roof or siding job is not a planned expense, it is usually an urgent one. Plans range from short-term payoff to longer terms that keep your monthly number low.

Don't wait for an insurance check

If your adjuster is still reviewing the claim or the payout is weeks out, financing lets us get the work started now. You stop the leak, secure the property, and pay the balance down once your insurance funds arrive. No tarp on your roof for a month waiting on paperwork.

Simple, upfront terms

Your estimator walks you through the financing application during the inspection, right at your kitchen table. No obligation, no hard credit pull until you decide to move forward. You see the rate, the term, and the monthly payment before you sign anything.

Works with insurance deductibles

Many homeowners use financing to cover their deductible portion of a storm claim, so the job does not stall on out-of-pocket cost. We coordinate the scope, the claim, and the financing so you understand exactly what insurance covers and what your plan handles.

James Hardie fiber cement

ColorPlus factory finish or primed for field paint. Installed to Hardie spec with proper clearance, flashing, and a rainscreen where the wall needs to breathe. This is the product that survives Texas UV and hail without warping.

Vinyl siding

Insulated vinyl for budgets that need to move faster. Low maintenance, no repaint cycle, solid color-through panels that hide scratches.

Trim, soffit, and fascia

We replace rotted fascia and soffit while the ladders are already up. Vented soffit keeps your attic temperature down and your roof warranty valid.

Installation process

Siding installation starts with a flat, dry substrate. We remove the old material, inspect the sheathing and house wrap underneath, replace any rotted wood, then install the new siding to manufacturer spacing and clearance requirements. Fiber cement gets a rainscreen gap where the wall needs to breathe. Every joint is flashed, every penetration is caulked, and every course is checked for level before we fasten it.

Maintenance and lifespan

Fiber cement holds its factory finish for 12 to 15 years in Central Texas sun. Vinyl needs no paint but may fade on south and west exposures after 10 years. Inspect caulk lines at windows, doors, and penetrations annually. If you see gaps, call us before water gets behind the siding.

Questions

Siding FAQ

Is fiber cement worth the extra cost over vinyl?

In Austin, yes. Fiber cement resists hail, holds paint for 12 to 15 years, and will not melt near a grill or reflected window heat. Vinyl is fine on a budget, but it fades faster here.

Can you match my existing siding?

In most cases yes. We match profile and color, and if the original product is discontinued we show you the closest current match before we order.

Do you paint the new siding?

You choose. ColorPlus comes factory-finished. Primed board gets painted on site with an exterior acrylic rated for Texas sun.
