Full Exterior Renovation in Georgetown

The Project

This Georgetown home needed everything - the roof was 20 years old, the wood siding was rotting, and the gutters were undersized and leaking. The homeowners had been quoted by three different contractors for each trade, but they wanted one crew that could handle the whole project on one schedule without coordinating multiple subcontractors.

What We Found

• End-of-life roof with curled shingles and granule loss across all slopes
• Rotting wood siding at every corner and behind the gutters
• Undersized gutters with leaking seams and clogged downspouts
• Rotted fascia and soffit behind the old gutters

What We Did

We started with the roof - full tear-off to the deck, new decking where needed, and a complete GAF architectural shingle system with synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield, new flashing, and new pipe boots. Class 4 impact-rated shingles for hail resistance.

While the roof was being done, the siding crew removed the old wood siding and installed James Hardie fiber cement with a factory ColorPlus finish. We replaced the rotted fascia and soffit, and installed vented soffit for attic airflow.

Once the roof and siding were up, the gutter crew installed 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters with 3x4 oversized downspouts and micro-mesh leaf guards. The gutters were sized to the new roof area and pitched to shed debris.

We also repainted the front door and shutters to complement the new siding color, giving the home a complete exterior refresh.

The Result

The entire project took eight days with one crew managing all three trades. The homeowners didn't have to coordinate schedules between a roofer, a siding contractor, and a gutter installer - we handled everything start to finish. The new exterior is cohesive, with matching colors and details across the roof, siding, and gutters. Everything is built to handle Central Texas weather, and the homeowners have warranties on every component.
